Thank you for your interest in learning more about my campaign for Superior Court Judge in Napa.

I have owned my home in St. Helena since 2012 and am deeply committed to our community.  I’m running for election because I believe I have the qualifications, experience and temperament necessary to best serve Napa as a judge.

My 40 years of experience practicing law in the Bay Area focused on fighting for the rights of injured people, families and small businesses.  I won many verdicts for my clients and was most satisfied when the results changed the lives of my clients in positive ways.  I successfully represented a variety of small businesses in contract negotiations, as well as litigation in the areas of product liability, landowner liability and real estate litigation.  In 2009 I won a landmark case in the Court of Appeals confirming the full responsibility of a landowner for maintaining elevators in a safe condition, despite using an elevator service company.  See Koepnick v. Kashiwa Fudosan America, Inc. at 173 Cal.App.4th 32.

If I am elected Judge, I am committed to making sure that our court is fair, unbiased and equitable.  I will work diligently to be sure our cases move forward in a timely fashion and that the rulings of the court are fair and just.
